The woman whose face became synonymous with Gerber’s baby food posed for an adorable photo with the first brand baby to have Down syndr-ome.

Ann Turner Cook, 91, can be seen smiling as she holds one-year-old Lucas Warren at her home in Tampa, Florida, last week.

Cook lives in Tampa after retiring from years as an English teacher and mystery novelist.

The ‘life-changing’ meeting was made possible by Gerber since the infant’s family was in the area enjoying a vacation.

‘As soon as we walked into the room, (Cook) and Lucas immediately bonded,’ parents Cortney and Jason said in a statement to Today.com.

‘Lucas walked right up to her, flashing his signature smile and waving, and we could tell he loved her right away.’

Lucas was said to have then gra-bbed two cookies and offered one to the woman.

‘My grandmother was the Gerber baby. It was a funny bit of trivia, never made her rich or got us free stra!ned peas or anything, grandson Chris Colin said on Twitter.

‘But last week she got to meet the company’s newest spokesbaby, named Lucas. Pretty pretttty cute.’

Dorothy Hope Smith, a family friend of Cook, sketched the portrait of the woman as an infant and submitted it to Gerber in 1928.

The company had been looking for a face for the company and was so infat-uated with the portrait of Cook that they trademarked it in 1931.

In 1978, it was revealed that Cook was the face during celebrations for the company’s 50th anniversary.

Lucas grew legions of fans when his adorable photos first made waves in February.

He recently finished his first campaign with the company, title ‘Make Every Little Bite Count.’
